Yes aluminum is louder but after owning a carolina skiff and seeing how badly that boat was designed i don't think i will ever go back to fiberglass..... I was gonna try and see if i could use program to draw out what i want to build but heck it is easier to just tell it, maybe. i've been wanting to.... Do you have any pics of your 15' scooter? i am building a 14 1/2' scooter with no sides. we have the hull tacked together and are braking the round....
